So apparently some brilliant person out there decided to make a LOLSontag!
Neverminding the actual statement on the thing, I have to admit that the idea of mixing something as lowbrow as LOLCats with someone as highbrow as Susan Sontag is hilarious (especially given her interest in the intersection between high and low art, as in her Notes On Camp). Now I really want to make a LOLJudithButler. It could read "JENDR BYNAREE - UR DOIN IT RONG." Ah, I crack myself up.
All kidding aside, I wish Susan Sontag had lived to see this election year. This month marks the fourth anniversary of her death. She would have had such interesting things to say.
