been a while....
Well, Friday was good. The dinner was fun and Jerry won gift certificates to Logans. Neither of us had been there before, so we were excited. Afterwards we went to the bar. We were there longer than I wanted to be, but he apologized and we had a nice talk about that. >sigh< I love him. Anyways...I came home and went to bed.
Saturday was a long day. Got up around 10..I LOVED sleeping in! Got ready and we left around one. Got gas and some pop and headed to my aunts house where we met up with my cousin and her son. We didn't end up leaving until two, because my cousin lost her debit card. So yeah. We got on the highway at like, 2:10. And we were on our way. We left really early. The game started at 7:30 and the doors opened at six. But we wanted to get there as early as we could in case anything happened. Good thing... We're driving along, not really sure exactly how far we have to go. My cousin looks and says it's about fifty more miles. So we're like, sweet...we're almost there. And then this happenes:
Mom: "You have your tickets right?"
My cousin (Maggie): "Shut up you do."
Mom: "um, no"
Maggie: "Oh no. They're in my moms jewelry box."
That's right folks. We were fifty miles from our destination and we had to turn back. Before we did though, we pulled off the highway on the next exit we came to and called anyone we could. Got ahold of my uncle Joe and cousin Matt and they said just start driving back and they would get together and meet us somewhere along the way. We ended up meeting in Ionia, which was sweet!! We ended up having to go back sixty miles, so that was an extra 120 miles we traveled, which was great fun....not. Anyways...we were back on the road. Got there at like, 6:45. We missed the pictures with the players and them practicing, but thats okay. We were still there. The game was awesome. I want to marry Rip Hamilton. He's so hot! lol. Spent most the of third quarter in line because the guy in front of me decided to buy like, one of everything and try it all on. YEAH. It was fun. He spent over $200, which isn't that hard I suppose, but it would be for me. I get up there, get my two things, and we rush back to our seats. When the game ended we hurried out to the van. We got in the van at 10:00 and we were on the road by 10:02. That was sweet. Long drive home and I was exhausted. Good day though.
Sunday was a lot of laying around. We were celebrating Michael's birthday, so I didn't leave. We ate dinner and did cake and ice cream and then I went over to Jerry's. Watched Extreme Home Makeover, Desperate Housewives, and Greys Anatomy. Good times. Then I came home.
Monday I worked, which was work. Yup...that's all I did.
Tuesday I had off, and so did my brothers and sister and mom. So I didn't really do anything. Went to a cash and carry candle party from Partylite. That was sweet. Our candle lady was selling all of her stuff that she has extras of or doesn't want anymore for REALLY cheap. So I got some candle holders for Jerrys room and ordered some candles too. I want to have a party really bad. Would anyone come??? I think it would be fun. Who knows though. My moms having one either the end of January/beginning of February, so I would book off of her. Anyways....came home from that and watched American Idol.
Wednesday was a good day! Got up and got the kids to school. Went to Jerrys around ten. We watched the Shield and cuddled for a while. Ate some mac n cheese. Just spent a lazy day together. I left to pick up my brothers from school and then get andrea and 3:30. My dad got home around 4 and so I left again because Jerry and I had a date. We went to see Fun With Dick and Jane (very funny!!) and then to Logans for dinner. That was good! Saw Kelli Bouchard, but she was really busy running around, so didn't get a chance to talk to her. Went back to his house after dinner. Watched American Idol again and Skating with the Stars. During both we flipped back to the Red Wings games every now and then. Then we watched Detriot Sports stuff to hear about the lions new head coach. Then I went home...I was way tired.
And now here I am! Not a lot planned for this weekend. Um...don't work tomorrow!! woohoo for that. but yeah...I have to go get Andrea ready for school. Later!!
