So I feel sometimes like I didn't have a weekend at all. Friday it took me an hour and a half to get home because of some "construction" blunder in Buda. I finally got home and immediately had to shower and head back up north to the Icebats Hockey game. Kristen's friend Ken and I hung out and watch half the game and just walked around the other half. I talked to Kristen on my way up to the game and she was on the verge of tears because her car got towed on campus when she went to take her test which she thought she did terrible on. To top it off it was about 45 minutes before she had to dance and she was sick to her stomach. Regardless she made it through her routine. It seems for those 4 minutes all her troubles disappeared. She is a very talented dancer.

After she performed she came and found Ken and I in the stands and told us she didn't want to stick around the rest of the game. Kristen left with me because I was going to help her get her car out of the impound. This is where the fun began. First her whole wallet was in her car so I had to stop to get some money to get it out. Then we drove to the impound place way south. I have to say that impound lots are some of the scariest places on earth. This one was tucked away in deep south Austin, in a dimly lit place surrounded by nothing but a couple of run down houses. So the guys come to the window and Kristen lets him know what car she is trying to get out. Well, she needed photo id. She tells him it is in the car. So basically he says well we can't let back here and that they can't go in the car due to liability reasons. So Kristen gets flustered. I start talking to the man and he says that he will give us the car if she has any photo id with her pic on it. Which she is flustered at this point and doesn't think she has one. So he tells us we have to get a notary public to sign some paper saying it is her car. But they don't have one there and send us to another place where there is one. We head that way. Start filling out the paper work and the guy asks the license plate number which she doesn't know. We call her roomates and they can't find any paper work with it on there. So we call her mom, and her mom is out of town with none of that info on hand. At that point Kristen loses it. Crocodile tears flowing, glittery make up running, while she paces around in her ice bats top. I get on the phone with her mom and she is asking me "what is wrong with Kristen, what happened to her." I assured her that nothing happened it was just a long bad day. So at this point we decide to go up to her apartment to search for the info. We get up to campus but as we get there her mom got the info we needed. Kristen grabs a few things from her apt. and we head back south. We get the paper work and go to the car place and the creepy guys finally give us that car.

That night we just chilled at my house and fell asleep. The next morning we woke up late and Kristen left. Goudie and I spent the whole afternoon lounged in front of the tv on the couches. That night Katrina and I went to go see Goudies cover band that he plays in called the K-Tel Hit Machine. They are awesome and play the most obscure 70's songs. The songs that make you say, "oh I know that one...who sings that?" It was a free bar and food. We had an awesome time.

Sunday I went and worked at Karens farm. We hung christmas lights on trees and the house, moved stuff on her farm, cleaned patios, and painted her kitchen. I was beat by the end of the day. I went home, showered and fell asleep reading.
