It's Christmas day and I'm sitting at my laptop by the Christmas tree, light aglow (well, ashin-ing, rather than aglow - it ain't on fire people!) and I'm just waiting til I'm allowed open my pressie!!!!

Right, so.
Yes I know I'm impatient people, but e oncome on! I had been hearing about this pressie since mid november and nearly before. I had been patient! And then my patients ran out (I wouldn't make a good doctor...)
So, ya. Brian signed in to Skype moments after that (-ish) and I got to open (tear, rip and throw aside the wrapping) my pressie, and-
It's actually brilliant, it is a stroke of brilliance, but um, ya, don't tell him I said that or he'll get a big head....
It's a rug, crochetted in greens and greys, with the IDWCon09 pint logo (the one Brian had made)....
It's fantastic!
And ya, I will be showing it off at the Convention!

Yes, yesterday was fun. The kids came in and we got little pressies and free cans of coke! Yea! I got perfume - is that a hint?
And then we went into the middle room to Mam and Orla - David and Anthony (his dad) fell asleep in the front room! So cute...
And we talked and the kids told us what they got for Christmas and stuff. And then we decided to play Charades.
And we had to teach them how to play. It was weird and fun and silly and we starting to fight over who's turn it was... :D Yes, we are just big kids!!!
