stressed and overwhelmed
my parents don't have hot water because their water heater needs to be replaced, and my dad is relying on his church friends to fix it, instead of paying full price and getting someone legit to fix the problem. i offer to help pay for these expenses but he refuses, because he wants to be cheap. i don't think they understand the urgency of having hot water, or am i just tripping?
i reached out to two of my brothers yesterday to see if they can help my parents resolve this issue. i checked in with them today and nothing has been resolved. i asked them again if they could help them get this fixed asap and one of my brothers said he can't today because he has to do his taxes. wow. just wow.
i'm over here trying to study for my midterm exam tomorrow, and i don't want to drop everything to fix my parents' issue but i don't even know if i could resolve it because of my dad's cheap tendencies.
and i am not even mentioning the issues i am having here at my own place.
