This is one of my most personal post here so far...never posted pics like this and with me before. I do not like myself in pictures, but who does? This was the first time I thought I could risk to post it....
Hon', you look just fine! :) Lovely to see what you look like. You wind up getting to know people and only wondering what they appear like. This makes the "connection" more intimate and "real".
..and yeah..absolutely HATE myself in pictures, too. It's all them movie stars that are photogenic..not us "regular" folk. xD

When I think of a person I know here I always have the profile picture in my head...and never know how she (or seldom he) looks like....for you it is the John-picture you used for this comment. Needless to say that if someone else uses it I am slightly confused LOL
Ba-haaa! Yes..that's happened to me! I've seen someone else with an icon that I would associate with another person and have gotten confused. I've had that happen with you, in fact, a few times on JHP because someone had the same Bailey photo.
..meh..I'm nearing 47 and not in the best shape, either, so you are not alone, dearest. :/
Btw, I don't mind at all looking like my John from the avatar. xD ..but if you want to see "me", go to my December 17th journal entry, I believe it is..and there I am in all my funny-looking "glory". ;) I rarely ever take a good picture..but this one came out kinda decent, so I posted it.

The strange thing in my life is that a lot of girls named Petra crossed my way....they were always somehow important. Now I am married to a guy named Peter (who has a sister called Petra !), my best friend and soulmate is called Petra and I know at least four other Petras. My friend made the same experience....with my name. She has met a lot of Astrids in her life, although she says that I am the most important to her.
Wow..all the Petra's and Astrid's.. Is that a very common name in Germany, hon'? Astrid....not that common, as it is a scandinvian name. In my generation are some, but not that much, the more north you live in the country the more common it is (remember THAT Astrid in Hamburg
