Stuff
So the last few days I spent out of my house doing shit with people and it was grand. Stayed the night at Cici's house Friday night (cool chick; I approve of her) with Tyler and Josh and some people I didn't know but ended up being cool and then went canoing with them on Saturday. I love canoing, it makes me happy. What does not make me happy are enormous monstrosities called Horse Flies that bite the shit out of you and follow you and hurt. To quote Josh, "THEIR HUNGER IS INSATIABLE!!!" Go figure, I move to Mass and don't see a bug all year; I come back to Florida and I'm instantly covered in about 15 huge itchy bites.
Unfortunately, this is Josh's last week before he enters boot camp for the Navy. I don't know him well, but I really enjoy the kid and wish I had met him sooner. He's having a costume going away party this Friday. I need to come up with something to wear. Any ideas from the peanut gallery? Going over the top would be awesome, simply because I can.
I've been scribbling in the paper journal recently and come up with a few lines/themes that would be interesting to pursue/expand. Mayhaps something shall work....
