Major Squeee!!! Moment
OMG I'm sooo excited!!! Bon Jovi is playing DC on Saturday, December 17th!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh!! I'm flipin out!! Jen and I saw them a few years ago in DC and they fuckin rocked!! We had the worst seats...the band looked like little ants, but we were still up and dancing and singing to every song! It seriously rivaled a second row Aero show. Oh no...the aero fangirl in me is now kicking the jovi fangirl's ass.
Speaking of the aero fangirl...she has been found after a few years of being lost. We still aren't sure where she went to, but all we know is she has been found and is being given minimal amounts of Joe Perry, so as to avoid getting too much hope up again. I mean come on. The poor girl has been let down three times in a row...that's three canceled Va Beach shows in three years...put upon someone who had a steady diet of at least two shows a tour.
Anyway, it seems that they too will be touring the states this winter. And now my dilemma...to purchase tickets on Wednesday for their Thursday night show in DC (which I would have to skip class for...don't freak I'm not opposed to skipping class, it's just that I will have skipped this class four times; two of which would be for concerts. Yay Coldplay in a week!) or wait and hope that they will in fact come back to Va Beach (in which case where will they play?! The amphitheater is outdoors! Can I really wait and take a chance that they will continue the tour into the summer??) Shit. Rumor is Lenny is opening for them. The other rumor is that it could be Jet. God, I'd withdraw from class for that show. Thank God for financial aid, otherwise I'd be taking out a small loan to see my bands!
So now, I will proceed to make a concert list. Because I really don't want to do laundry and homework. So here we go!!!
Coldplay--10 days
Buy super sweet jovi tickets (sparing no expense!)--12 days
Rolling Stones--2 weeks!!! Yay partying with the fam!
Crying my eyes out b/c I'm missing U2--1 month
Taking my midterm while thinking about missing the other U2 concert and the free ticket to Def Leppard and Bryan Adams that I had to give up--1 month and 1 day
Aerosmith in DC!!!-- 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 day
Fly to Miami for week cruise!!! (ok so it's not a concert, but screw it; it's a cruise!!)--2 months and 1 week
