Quality AND Quantity!!!
Just spoke to Steph, who informed me that over 300 girls have pre-registered for formal recruitment! Holy shit!! That's more than all five sororities at total combined! And school hasn't even started yet!
She heard this from Sarah, who heard it through either a NPC executive or at an NPC exec meeting. In addition to 300+ girls, which if they all go through means quota is around 40-50!!, Trani is now focusing on building up the greek community, even going as far to have a designated Greek Row...on Grace Street, where the Red Light Inn is (yessss)!! Thanks! Give us the ghetto part of town! Now all this won't take place right away, it supposedly is to happen by 2010, but we'll see if it really does happen. I mean they have been kicking off fraternities left and right and now they want to use us as a selling point for incoming freshmen. I mean it's great news for us, but he's been bashing us since I started school and now he's suddenly welcoming us?!? Whatever.
Anyways, you'll know where to find me the weekend of Sept. 8! I just want to see what 300+ girls going through rush looks like! Quota's always been 10-12, total is still at 50 and if things go this way total could move up to 90-100! I just can't fathom that! We've always been a small greek community. Wow! By the way, they only have 9 Rho Chi's!! Sucks to be them!
So, just had to share...I know most of you who check my journal are sisters. So, with that said...who's coming with me!?!? They'll need all the help they can get if this many girls are coming though. I'm sure I've got Steph down and possibly Kristina. Besides, the non-alcohol policy doesn't apply to us so we can help out and then go out for a night on the town! Woo hoo!! I'm excited!
