today is the official start of winter. walking out of my house i wondered why it was still so dark at 7 20 in the morning...and then it dawned on me.
this past weekend was awesome. no school on friday because argentina played. lol. still, its only a 2 hour class that i have on fridays, but since it was from 10 to 12, the time of the game, the profesor figured it wise to cancel it since no one was gonna show up anyways. i think the real reason was that he wanted to see the game too, but hey, no complaints.
so thursday night reno, 2 of his friends and i went to a bar, just talked and hung out, came back home fairly early.
on friday i was up at 8, had lots of things to do since i invited people over for the game. they began arriving and what a sight to see! 17 persons in my living room with flags and soccer shirts cheering on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6! goals made by argentina! yay! and Serbia and Montenegro? 0! weeeeee
after the game we walked the streets to celebrate, went out for pizza, but then i had to leave early because i had a doctor's appointment. came home, did a bit of work but i was too tired, so i tried sleeping. didnt succeed but then lilah called me! so we chatted for awhile.
that night people came over to my house again. hung out, and then we went dancing. reno took me home, but we ended up talking till 8 am!
on saturday i woke up at 4 30. you might think its late but if you look at the time i went to bed it makes perfect sense. i studied a bit, and then chichita came over to hang out. that night i went to reno's and he cooked me dinner, yum! and i brought ice cream for dessert so that was swell too.
sunday i went out to lunch with my family and my dad's friend's family for fathers day. in the afternoon i watched a movie with my momnmy. that night there was a party at reno's, so i went with Chichita and Ili (a friend from college). it was so much fun! reno's brother's friends were there and they are all younger...so we gave them the dice to have fun with.
we girls got a little too happy....oh boy, we coudlnt stop laughing. or falling...got quite a bit of bumps on my body...but hey! its defientely been a long time since i last drank like that. we were gonna go dancing by ourselves but the boys convinced us that might not be very wise. in the end Ili and i ended up going to a club with reno and his friend nacho, the rest of the people went home.
monday was a national holiday (no, not because of soccer, it was flag day) and it was a pretty lazy day. in the afternoon i went to reno's, hung out and watched tv. then we came back to my house because i had to babysit and he taught me how to cook! yay, i'm learning. then i made him a myspace. woohoo...slowly but surely the trend is catching on down here...that will be 3 people who i convinced to get a myspace in hmmm 2 years, go me!
yesterday after school belita and chichita called me up so we met up and had ice cream. it was nice seeing them on a weekday, something that doesnt happen very often.
today argentina plays against holland, and everyone is gonna come over again. now i really should go study a tad before they all get here
