its freezing now! winter has definetely arrived...phooey.

on friday i met up with the girls and we took chichita's little sister to eat at mcdonald's. after we took her back to school chichita and i walked around the city for oh, about 3 hours. it was very fun, window shopping and talking. we also stopped by fran's house to visit him for like 20 minutes. after that we picked up her sister, went back to her house and hung out.

that night i went to dinner at my mom's best friend's house. her son has been living in miami for the past year and a half and she hadnt seen him since he left, so no he's back for a visit, so thats why she invited us over. it was fun.

after dinner, i left early and came home 'cause the boys and chichita were coming over. they did so and we hung out and it was very very fun. we wanted to go dancing so we left my house at 3 30 only to find that the entrance to the club was full of people, it was crazy. the police came and kind of cleared thigns out, but when we tried to get in, the doors were closed and we couldnt : (. so we left. reno came over to my house and we stayed up talking till 7 30. we didnt notice it was so late (or early, really) because it was still dark out.

on saturday afternoon chichita and i walked around and went to this cute little place to drink tea and eat muffins. since argentina was playing a game for the world cup, the streets were completly desserted, it was so weird. after the game everyone came out to celebrate and the city was filled with life again. it was certainly fun to observe. we went to reno's for a while, and then to fran's and we watched Batman Begins.

that night reno came over for dinner. i made him chicken nuggets! yay i'm such an awesome cook. after dinner we watched The Girl Next Door and cuddled. 'twas fun. he left at around 12 and i went to bed because i was really tired and my head hurt.

today i went for tea with my mommy and sis and ate many yummy things like medialunas and cheesecake.

hahah the world cup should be fun. they take it really seriously here. in fact, on friday i dont have class because there is a game on (and argentina plays). they bought a big screen tv at my university so people can go to the cafeteria and watch the games. they've bought a big screen tv nearly everywhere, from mcdonald's, to hair cutting places, to gyms, to little cafe's....basically, everywhere a human being might be in the next month or so.
