Well my last entry was of me getting my job and the start date.............
I'm settled into my new job and loving it. Panini making bar wench :D it's piss easy really and it helps that the pay is pretty good too. That's because I work to an Academic year, so although they claim to pay you 7.30 or something- an hour, it's pro - rota so the extra they pay helps fund us all year through breaks etc. Or something along those lines, I dont really care about the ins and outs :)
The house went totally tits up in the end. The seller landed himself in prison and wouldn't sign the contract until he came out. So we pulled out, sorted a Room with a landlady in a 'young professionals' house. Which basically meant - no students. There's 7 of us there, everyones lovely and I'm one of two girls so the house does get a bit smelly and messy sometimes. Although the other girl is a dirty bitch too. She left a fucking used tampon, in the shower, on my soap last week? - whhyyyy?!!
My fingers are crossed this time, me and dave found a house about am onth ago, twenty gazillion times better than the last one.
It's all very exciting and hopefully we should be there by the end of Jan/ Feb. We're just waiting for the current owners to find somewhere to rent. Hopefully it's furnished and we can get some white goods off them :P There's always free-cycle I suppose.
I'm back in Standish now for Christmas. Dave's been and gone back to Wrexham. He's going to see his mum down in Glos and then coming back up for NYE.
I'm feeling a bit rubbish again this Christmas, there's nothing huge bothering me, just feeling the usual blues because I wouldn't mind spending it with Dave and my family.
It's a shame that his mum lives so far away. Next year will be nice, new house and first christmas, maybe a kitten or eleven roaming around ;-)
Ahhh, right, that's about it really, job good, housey stuff good, i'm good, dave's good [he's packed in his college course and is doing the Electronics degree - A's so far! :)]
