(Author's Note- Although this chapter is short, and boring, and uneventful...I just felt like I had to update...please forgive me~)
Chapter 8
“OK…what the HELL is going on here?”
Amber and Luna smiled at the shocked Key, motioning for him to enter the house and sit down. When everyone was sitting in the living room of Amber’s house Luna told her story. Throughout the explanation Key’s mouth opened wider and wider and his eyes popped open.
“So you’re telling me…you like women?” Luna nodded, and Amber chuckled.
“And you and…this Amber…are married?” Amber lifted Luna’s hand and showed of a simple gold band around her ring finger.
“And…Onew’s father and your father decided the marriage without you knowing?” Luna’s smile faltered and she nodded sadly, Amber put her arm around her and squeezed. Key didn’t know what to think, didn’t know what to feel. He was happy, so happy. But there was just one thing…
“So, what now?”
Amber looked up at Key and cleared her throat awkwardly.
“Well, that’s what we need help with…how do we stop the marriage?”
Key scratched his head and sighed. I have to think of something…but what?. The group sat in silence for a while, racking their brains for ANY option to get out of the marriage.
*Knock knock*
“KEY! Are you in there key? KEYYYYY! Please open the door, please key I need to explain!” Onew’s loud voice resounded through Amber’s house, and Key couldn’t help but laugh when he heard his lovers voice crack a little. He got up and ran to the door, throwing it open. Key stopped and stared at the man in front of him. Onew was panting, as sweat dripped down his brow, he must have run here key thought. Before he could stop himself he threw himself into Onew’s arms burying his face into his neck and breathing in deeply. He pushed up onto his tippy toes and squeezed his arms tight around Onew’s neck. Onew stumbled back and laughed softly before wrapping his arms around key and squeezing back.
“hahhh…Onew, why’d you run so fast? Me and taemin could barely keep up!” Minho yelled, as he and taemin jogged up the road towards the hugging couple. Minho was completely ignored. Taemin stopped him before he could interrupt the reunion of the two lovers, pulling him into the house.
Amber, Luna, Minho and Taemin sat in the living room leaving Onkey to hug in the doorway. Amber and Luna brought Minho and Taemin up to date, and when Onew and Key finally reentered the house (both teary eyed, and fingers laced together) they all sat down and got to thinking about how to end the arranged marriage. It seemed like hours they talked and thought about option, all were stupid. Taemin offered the idea of the three couples eloping to Sparta…it was immediately shot down harshly by Key
“Taemin shut up” Key said simply, squeezing Taemin’s hand and giving him a sympathetic look.
After a particularly long stretch of silence Onew suddenly stood up.
“There’s really only one option” the rest of the group looked up with questioning stares, but Onew simply leaned down kissing key on the forehead, and left the house.
Chapter 8
