Like a certain gentleman, aka SF; I sometimes look forward to what is named the silly season on TV. I watched the finales of Without a Trace and CSI miami and was amazed by both. Tonight however, I have welcomed one of the new shows - Ghost Whisperer. Once I overcame my fear of the scarier elements of the show I was entranced and by the end, in tears. For those who know me well I have always been a firm believer in guardian angels. Yesterday was irrefutable proof for me. I had no intention of moving my sofa from its new place on the tiled floor, but all of a sudden I looked at Jean my cleaning lady and said - "let's put this back on the rug." I was in dire need of some feet up time! As we moved the dark grey sofa away from the wall units I spied a deadly looking spider which if I hadn't moved the sofa could well have investigated my head or neck as it crawled up the sofa's back. Promptly I despatched it to Neverland. Later SJ and I had a close call with a P plater. Again I felt a presence with us. And the third - another spider close to my bed at two thirty in the morning. This time I woke up for no apparent reason and spied it as I decided to get up and make a coffee.
Perhaps Jason - a psychic I saw recently is right - there is life to be lived by me still. So though my fingernails may be chewed down to bedrock - roll on the next episode of Ghost whisperer. Maybe there will be an episode that will help me solve my sibling puzzle.
