There was only one hero greater, braver and more valiant than Bunnyhero, and that was Bdoing - a kangaroo which was substantially smaller than the bunny, being a keyring toy, but somehow managed to carry to safety even the largest of wounded and stranded damsels.
One Christmas, when we asked Sophie what she wanted for Christmas, the answer was a cape for Bdoing. Beth kidnapped that little kangaroo each night after Sophie was asleep, and on Christmas morning, she awoke to find a little stocking hung next to her own, with “For Bdoing” written on a note sticking out of the top.
Inside, carefully folded in green tissue paper, was a little pair of blue underpants and a flowing blue satin cape, with a B emblazoned across it, and a piece of elastic to hold it on. Bdoing was the star of Christmas lunch, and flew around the house for weeks afterwards, saving damsels and righting wrongs with new-found zeal.
