I just love this mug I bought while I was visiting Projeto Tamar in Ubatuba(on the north coast of São Paulo)in July 2004.
It sports three green and blue turtles on a yellow background ...so it reminds me of the colours of the Brazilian flag.
It also brings me fond memories because I was there with Maria Pia English teacher), Filomena and Vicenzo (school directors) from Napoli, Italy, who were escorting their students with whom my 10th graders had done a blog project the year before. I went to Rio to meet them with 5 students of mine.
Every morning I have coffee and check my mail, I remember the bus trip along the coast from Rio to São Paulo and the fun we had together.
It's a wonderful way to start the day!
