The Further Adventures of a City Dwelling Greyhound.

Three photos of our dog, who after three weeks seems to have adjusted well enough, for the most part, to realize that she's in a very loving environment that will probably not be going away anytime soon. Most of her time is spent sleeping, broken up by walks and mealtimes and the occasional game of fetch, which usually only lasts as long as she wants it to.

Oracle, attentively waiting for whatever it is that's about to happen next,
and wondering if said event will include a tasty dog treat of some kind.

This is the coat we dress her in for the cold weather. We attempted to give her booties as well, but she loathed them, in part because they interfered with her ability to navigate the ice and snow. Our dog seems to have a fundamental understanding of Velcro, because she often attempts--successfully, if we let her go long enough--to unwrap herself from the winter gear.

Oracle and her squeaky blue gorilla Buddy attempt to catch a nap
before later that evening, when they will have to endure yet another nap.
