[harry potter!au] And Jongdae will be like, 'Oh I keep seeing you everywhere,' and realize that he is in love with me!

He grabs Baekhyun by the collar and politely asks Kyungsoo to come along that day, after Herbology, heading to the side of the Great Lake.

"I need your help," Chanyeol starts when Kyungsoo is comfortably seated. He releases his grab on Baekhyun.

Kyungsoo fixes his green tie and looks at him with no interest while Baekhyun whines about needing to be treated more princess-like. Chanyeol shuts his eyes and heaves a deep breath as he continues, "I have found the one."

"For the hundredth time," Kyungsoo deadpans.

"He's got a valid point," agrees Baekhyun.

Chanyeol holds up his hand. "Shush," he says, eyes still closed. "This one is real."

"Of course."

"I'm sure."

"Anyway," Chanyeol cuts. "It's Jongdae."

Chanyeol awaits the flood of question and disbelief from his friends-he is ready for them all. He has prepared a speech on why one Park Chanyeol should be with Kim Jongdae, and he has practiced to recite it over and over again. It contains two words: It's destiny.

When silence greets him, Chanyeol is forced to crack open one eye just to check that his friends are still listening. Baekhyun sits there with his chin on his palms, and Kyungsoo is back to cleaning invisible dirt on his tie. "What, no response?" demands Chanyeol.

"About time."

"Sort of obvious."

It's fascinating how Kyungsoo and Baekhyun keep speaking at the same time with the same tone, saying pretty much the same thing, but Chanyeol has more important things to think about. "Okay," he says, a little disappointed that he doesn't get to share his speech. "So, help me or not?"

"Depends on what we have to do," Baekhyun comments.

"And what we get in return," Kyungsoo continues. Even completing each others' sentence-they sound like twins at this point, thinks Chanyeol.

"Prepare yourselves, because it's genius," Chanyeol begins, a grin spreading wide in his face. "So I need the two of you to basically be me and appear randomly in front of Jongdae."

He pauses for dramatic effect, taking in the look on Kyungsoo's and Baekhyun's faces. It's a look of disinterest and boredom. Chanyeol clears his throat and continues, "And Jongdae will be like, ‘Oh I keep seeing you everywhere,' and realize that he is in love with me!"

"I thought you said you like him," comments Baekhyun. "That just sounds like torture."

Kyungsoo has a different question. "How exactly do we become you?"

"Duh," Chanyeol replies incredulously, "Polyjuice."

"Pass," Kyungsoo says instantly.

"Yeah how about no?" Baekhyun cringes.

"To you, Kyungsoo," Chanyeol adds immediately, he really had thought this through, "I offer one clear shot of bludger to my stomach on our next Quidditch match."

Baekhyun inhales sharply and Kyungsoo perks up at this offer, eyes glinting with need. It is a known fact that Kyungsoo, Slytherin's beater, has a fondness of sending bludgers to his enemies. It's not merely a job for Kyungsoo-it is a release, a satisfaction, a craving. He finds joy in being obligated to cause pain on others. And Chanyeol, being one of the few who has yet to be on the receiving end of Kyungsoo's bludgers, is on top of his hit list. "Five shots," he bargains. "Then we're talking."

"One."

"Five."

"One."

"Five."

"Do you even know how bargaining works?" Baekhyun interjects.

"Fine, two."

"Five."

Chanyeol takes a deep breath before delivering his next offer. This plan better work. "Two shots," he starts, "one to the face."

It's concerning how much delight surfaces on Kyungsoo's face at the sound of this new proposition. He seems to be weighing his options, and Chanyeol wonders if he has made a mistake. Baekhyun pats him good luck. "I will take that offer for one sip of polyjuice potion," Kyungsoo replies.

"No, that offer is for a whole week of polyjuice potion," Chanyeol retorts.

"Three sips."

"Five."

"I will take five sips," Kyungsoo answers, "for three shots, two to the face."

Baekhyun lets out an ooh as Chanyeol stares in horror at Kyungsoo, who flashes him a smirk. Why did he let Kyungsoo's innocent look fool him and decided to befriend the guy back on the Hogwarts Express, he asks himself. Chanyeol silently prays that Jongdae will fall for this trick and fall in love with him for real, because he is going to need someone to tend to all the injuries he will receive from Kyungsoo. "Deal," he says, shaking Kyungsoo's hand.

"If you're good enough to make a Polyjuice Potion," Baekhyun muses as he watches his friend sign a deal with the devil, "why don't you just make him a love potion or something?"

"Uh," Chanyeol replies. "Too mainstream?"

Kyungsoo rolls his eyes.

"No, I mean," Chanyeol mumbles, face flushing a shade of pink. It's a rare sight. "I want his love to be real, not potion-induced."

"So sweet," Baekhyun sneers. Kyungsoo looks like he's ready to throw up into the lake.

Chanyeol shakes his head and dismisses his unsupportive friends. "We start Monday," he says. "Meet me in front of the hippogriff painting on the fifth floor."

"Wait," Baekhyun protests. "What do I get?"

Maybe Chanyeol didn't really think this through. He assumed Baekhyun would just be happy to do mischief. "My gratitude?" Chanyeol tries.

Baekhyun snorts. "Can I do bludgers, too?"

Chanyeol actually thinks that bludgers will do more harm on Baekhyun than on him, but the image of Baekhyun whining and wailing on the hospital wing isn't very pleasant. "How about I treat you anything at Hogsmeade for a day?" Chanyeol proposes.

Baekhyun grins and nods excitedly. If only Kyungsoo was this easy.

*

Comes Monday, Chanyeol's readily waits for Baekhyun and Kyungsoo with two vials of light yellow liquid in his hands. He leans next to the painting, flashing a smile at a group of first year Ravenclaws who are giggling at the sight of him. It isn't really that hard for Chanyeol to get a girl in Hogwarts, what with his look and his height and the fact that he's a star in Gryffindor's Quidditch team. It is, however, really hard to get a boy. Second year Slytherin Kim Jongin and sixth year Zhang Yixing from Hufflepuff will gladly testify to the uselessness that is Chanyeol's pickup lines. But this time, with this elaborate plan, Chanyeol is positive that he will finally succeed.

Kyungsoo appears from a nearby staircase, tidying his shirt and tie that look perfectly fine. "Where's Baekhyun?" he asks as he conjures a chair next to Chanyeol and sits on it.

"He ditched me after Potions," Chanyeol replies. "Probably fetching some lunch, I don't know."

Chanyeol is most probably right, as Baekhyun emerges from a corridor, hands full with sandwiches and chicken legs. "I come bearing food!" he announces.

Kyungsoo snorts. It has just occurred to Chanyeol how amazing it is that Kyungsoo is still friends with them, with the amount of eye-rolling and snorting he does whenever they're together. Both Chanyeol and Kyungsoo accept a sandwich from Baekhyun and they quickly munch as Chanyeol recites his plan. "None of us share any classes with him, so I think we can carry this out every free period, and try to find Jongdae and just wave or grin or smile or whatever.

"The point is he has to see you, and that's all," Chanyeol finishes. He believes that all he needs is for Jongdae to notice him, and notice him a lot, until he's the star of Jongdae's (preferably wet, but he's not picky) dreams, and Jongdae falls down on his knees begging for Chanyeol to take him.

"What, that's it?" Baekhyun objects. "No cheesy confession, no gifts, no nothing?"

"That's it, no need to improvise," Chanyeol replies sternly. "Especially you, Baekhyun."

"Are you sure?" Baekhyun mocks. "Jongdae loves me. I can make him love you."

True, Chanyeol muses. Chanyeol remembers thinking that they were a couple when Baekhyun first introduced him to his Quidditch commentator partner, with all the touching and all the inside jokes they shared. Although both Jongdae and Baekhyun went ew, no, I'd rather go straight than be with him, Jongdae and Baekhyun definitely love each other. But for now Chanyeol just wants Jongdae to notice him, before he goes on another round of planning cheesy confessions and gifts and everything. "Yes I'm sure," he says determinedly. "Also we need to share reports every day, you know, get our stories straight."

Kyungsoo and Baekhyun nods absently and Chanyeol ushers both of them into a nearby toilet. "Here's your potions!" he cheers. "And my uniform."

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo reluctantly accept the vials and the uniforms. "You don't look too disgusting," comments Kyungsoo as he holds his vial above his head, observing the contents.

"Please," Chanyeol waves his hand. "For all I know, I taste like honey."

This time Baekhyun joins Kyungsoo as both of them roll their eyes at Chanyeol.

"Well," Baekhyun mumbles, lifting the vial in front of his mouth. "Here goes nothing."

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo take their potions and wince. Chanyeol is glad that he checked the bathroom stalls to make sure no one was around and locked the door, because his friends are suddenly groaning loudly, in a voice that sounds deeper and deeper by the second until their voices sound almost exactly like his. Baekhyun is on his knees, clutching the sides of his body tightly. His jet black hair grows shades of red here and there, the tips of his ears becoming slightly pointier. Kyungsoo doesn't look like he's doing much better-he whimpers in pain as his shoulders grow wider like he always wanted them to, his eyebrows thinning and his mouth slightly less plump. What looks like the most painful thing ever, though, is the way their legs seem to stretch way past the length of their pants, and Chanyeol finds himself wishing that his best friends have no fear of heights.

The groans and growls die down in a minute or so, and three Chanyeols stand there, staring at each other. One starts whining immediately, "My uniform's ruined!"

"Yeah, well," real Chanyeol argues. "I did give you my uniform."

The one Chanyeol that hasn't said anything tries to head to a stall, but tumbles forward, and the two other Chanyeols grabs him by the shoulder. "Too high for you?" whiny Chanyeol snickers.

Tumbling Chanyeol grabs whiny Chanyeol on a headlock, pausing in awe at the sight of long limbs and significantly more strength on the upper body. Real Chanyeol immediately notes in his head that he must never upset Kyungsoo, especially when the small man is in a bigger, much stronger form.

Two identical Chanyeols emerge from the stalls minutes later, ripped uniforms and ruined shoes discarded, and they meet up with the third, real Chanyeol who is enjoying the scene in front of him. "You guys look amazing."

*

Three days after the plan is set in motion, Baekhyun and Kyungsoo have come up with a game of who can wave-slash-grin at Jongdae more, because reporting back to Chanyeol everyday has become more and more boring. Baekhyun is currently holding an impressive record of waving forty times and grinning ten times in one day, and Chanyeol has taken a habit of smiling apologetically every time he manages to make small talks with Jongdae because of this.

Chanyeol can't really complain, though, because evidently Jongdae seems to notice him more and more these days. The Ravenclaw boy actually taps his shoulder and grins at him, greets him when he passes the Gryffindor table at lunch, and yesterday Jongdae even approaches him at the library, shyly asking Chanyeol to help him pick up a book on the top shelf. Chanyeol thinks it's safe to say that his plan is going smoothly and he should move on to planning his cheesy confession and gifts and everything. But right now, he should focus on the Quidditch match he's about to have against Slytherin (and the possibility of two bludgers on his face, courtesy of Kyungsoo).

"Chanyeol!" a familiar voice calls him and Chanyeol almost trips on his own foot. A boy with blue and bronze scarf comes panting to his side.

"Hey," the boy greets, gripping Chanyeol's arm while he catches his breath. Chanyeol wills himself not to blush too wildly, but he probably fails. "Funny, I thought I saw you in the Great Hall just now."

"Uh hey," he croaks back, trying to say something that will change the topic. "Where are you headed, Jongdae?" he finally asks.

Jongdae blinks at him. "Well, the game, of course," he replies with a chuckle. "I'm sort of the commentator?"

"Ah, right!" Chanyeol gives himself an imaginary face palm and laughs awkwardly. They walk side by side to the Quidditch field, and Chanyeol finds himself wishing that the field was further away, because let's walk together forever Jongdae, I love you.

"Well, good luck, Chanyeol!" Jongdae tells him, patting his arm as they arrive at the field. He suddenly leans closer and Chanyeol feels his face getting hot. "Also," he whispers, "thank you for yesterday."

Jongdae flashes him one last grin and flees to his position at the stands, where Baekhyun is waiting-strands of red hair still noticeable on his hair. Meanwhile, Chanyeol racks his brain for yesterday, trying to find something worth thanking, groaning in frustration as he comes up empty. It must have been something Jongdae did with either Baekhyun or Kyungsoo.

Chanyeol is still thinking up reasons why neither Kyungsoo nor Baekhyun mentioned anything on yesterday's report meeting as he changes his robes to his Quidditch uniform. He still spaces out as Luhan starts the briefing for today's match, and it isn't until Jongdae's voice echoes his name when he enters the field that he snaps out of his own thought and starts paying attention. Not to the game, but to Jongdae, who is smiling at his direction.

Chanyeol kicks the ground and his broom flies to his position next to Luhan. The whistle blows and the Quaffle is in the air, safe and sound within Luhan's grab. Chanyeol flies ahead to the Slytherin's goal posts and finds a position to accept Luhan's pass.

"Chanyeol's getting ready to accept the Quaffle from Luhan!" he hears his name in Jongdae's voice and Chanyeol gets distracted for a second, sneaking a glance to the commentator box. Jongdae gives him a thumbs-up, and Chanyeol feels like doing a somersault on his broom. And that's what he does, seconds later, when his stomach is hit square by a bludger coming from Kyungsoo's direction.

The audience, especially in the Gryffindor area, screams in protest as the Quaffle is now in Slytherin's possession. Luhan grabs Chanyeol by the hand to help him find his balance, all the while chiding him for not paying attention to the game. The Gryffindor captain then flies away to snatch the Quaffle back.

"Head in the game, Park," whispers Kyungsoo as he hovers nearby. Chanyeol holds his stomach in pain and shoots Kyungsoo a look that he hopes implies I thought we're friends. "Next one's on the face," Kyungsoo continues with a smirk.

"Chanyeol, are you okay?" Baekhyun's voice echoes through the field with mock-concern. "Jongdae, what do you think of Chanyeol's performance today?"

"Woah, I think he's spacing out a little today," replies Jongdae as he shakes his head. "Chanyeol-ah, head in the game, okay? Fighting!" he adds cutely, and a roar of laughter (also a disgusted jeer) fill the stadium.

A different kind of roar fills Chanyeol's insides, because was that really Jongdae personally cheering for him? In front of the entire school? Being all cute? Because then he has all the encouragement he needs to win this game. He kicks the air and soars through the field, grabbing the Quaffle from Slytherin's chaser whose name he can't seem to remember, and flies back to the opposite direction, dodging bludgers here and there. He throws the Quaffle with all his might in the direction of the goal posts.

A wide grin spreads across Chanyeol's face as he hears Jongdae's voice cheers in delight. "Ten points for Gryffindor!"

*

"What happened yesterday?" Chanyeol confronts Baekhyun in the Gryffindor common room, during their Quidditch win celebration.

"What yesterday?" mumbles Baekhyun as he stuffs more chicken into his mouth.

"This morning Jongdae said thank you for yesterday," Chanyeol explains, his hands forming air quotes. "What the hell does that even mean?"

Baekhyun looks surprised and starts coughing, sauce oozing out the corners of his mouth. Chanyeol hands him a glass of water disgustedly. He waits until Baekhyun finishes his glass and repeats. "So? What's yesterday?"

"Uh," Baekhyun starts, averting his gaze to the floor. "I, uh, sort of hugged him?"

Chanyeol's eyes widen and he grabs Baekhyun by the arms. "What the hell, Baek?"

"Yeah well, he looked troubled when I met him," Baekhyun reasons. "And he asked if I, uh well, you, could give him a hug."

Chanyeol scratches his head at the fact that he hugged Kim Jongdae but didn't even get to feel it. Life is unfair. "You could have mentioned that on the meeting?"

"Uh," Baekhyun mumbles. "It slipped my mind?" he ends with a grin.

Chanyeol groans in frustration, his mind asking why, why, why, why is this happening, as the entire Quidditch team hauls him away from the still-grinning Baekhyun and to the center of the celebration, chanting his name.

*

"He did what?" Chanyeol screeches in the middle of Transfiguration, two days later, earning him questioning glances from the rest of the class, as well as a stare from his professor.

"Ten points from Gryffindor, Mister Park," Professor Choi snarls. "Also from Slytherin, Mister Do."

Kyungsoo shoots him a murderous look, and Chanyeol bangs his head on the table, wishing that Professor Choi would just take the entire points from Gryffindor instead. He taps his fingers on the table all through the rest of the class, impatiently waiting for it to be over so that he can hear Kyungsoo's entire story.

As soon as the class is dismissed, Chanyeol screeches one more time. "You explain to me right now what happened!"

Kyungsoo is still bitter from losing ten points over a stupid conversation, but after some persuasion from Baekhyun, he finally opens his mouth. "He pecked me," Kyungsoo says begrudgingly. "On the cheek!"

"Why?" wails Chanyeol. So Kim Jongdae has hugged him and pecked him, and he felt none of it. Life is totally unfair.

"I wouldn't know, he fucking pecked me!" Kyungsoo yells in frustration for a completely different reason from Chanyeol. "That fucking half-blood, how dare he!"

"And then what happened?" Baekhyun rubs Kyungsoo's back, trying to help out as Chanyeol seems to be in no mental state to say anything.

"What do you think?" Kyungsoo whines, leaning back to Baekhyun's touch. "I ran!"

Chanyeol runs both his hands on his hair, making a mess out of it as he wonders what Jongdae thinks about him, now that he's pecked him and Chanyeol, apparently, ran. Chanyeol takes a deep breath and tries really hard to think positive like he always does. This is a good sign, Chanyeol convinces himself, because if Jongdae is willing to hug and peck him once, what's to say that he won't do it again, right?

"I'm done with this," Kyungsoo snaps. "I've done my five days!"

"Yeah," Baekhyun agrees, his hand still brushing Kyungsoo's hair to calm him down. Chanyeol wonders why Kyungsoo even allow this. He must be pretty shaken. "What now?"

What now, Chanyeol thinks to himself. His doppelgangers have called it quits, and he's back to only having his one fine body to charm Kim Jongdae into falling for him. But what if he's already fallen, thinks Chanyeol. After all, didn't Jongdae supposedly give him a hug and a peck? You don't do that to random people, you do that to someone you like. This must be true, thinks Chanyeol, Kim Jongdae likes me. Now all I need is cheesy confession and gifts and everything.

"Yeol?" repeats Baekhyun, waving his hand in front of Chanyeol's face. "Are you alive?"

Chanyeol snaps out of his thoughts with a grin. "One more help," he says, and Kyungsoo sighs exasperatedly. "Please?"

*

The Astronomy Tower is the perfect place, says Chanyeol, as he walks alongside Kyungsoo, holding a guitar they stole/borrowed from Muggle Studies class ("How do you even know how to use that thing?"). Baekhyun is picking up Jongdae from his common room, making up excuses to bring him to the place where Chanyeol will be waiting with his cheesy confession, gifts, and everything.

Chanyeol stands up straight next to a huge window, holding the guitar in his hands, strumming random chords he learned from Muggle-born Zhang Yixing during the days he tried to court him. Kyungsoo watches him in actual awe. "You look cool," says Kyungsoo, and Chanyeol grins delightedly. Kyungsoo's approval is the world's approval-his skepticism is unrivaled by anyone. This has to work.

Vague sounds of Baekhyun's laugh can be heard coming from the stairs, and Chanyeol knows, it's time, it's time, it's time. Jongdae's here, there's no turning back. Here comes the cheesy confession and gifts and everything. Kyungsoo gives him a nod and pats his arm. "Good luck."

Baekhyun appears on the bottom of the staircase, dragging Jongdae along. They are laughing and talking about a Mandrake incident with first year Hufflepuff named Oh Sehun, and Chanyeol watches with jealousy. Tomorrow it will be me walking and laughing and talking with Jongdae, thinks Chanyeol determinedly.

"Well, enjoy!" Baekhyun squeals as Jongdae finally notices Chanyeol and his guitar, as he turns in confusion when Baekhyun and Kyungsoo scurry away hand in hand and leave the two of them standing awkwardly at the top and bottom of the short flight of stairs. Chanyeol heaves a deep breath. It's time, it's time, it's time.

He strums the first chord and starts singing as he walks down to approach Jongdae, flickers of moonlight shining on Jongdae from the huge window on top. Even if this fails, at least he checked the cheesy part of cheesy confession. "You're in everyone I see. So tell me, do you see me?" he finishes as he reaches a smiling Jongdae on the bottom of the stairs.

"You're in everyone I see," Jongdae quotes, giggling adorably. "Is this why you tell your friends to take your form?"

Chanyeol opens and closes his mouth in confusion. "Wait, what? You knew?"

"Well, one Chanyeol looks grumpy all the time," Jongdae answers with a shrug. He pauses for a second before smiling and adding, "Must be Kyungsoo. That just doesn't seem like you."

Chanyeol wonders what else Jongdae thinks is like him. How much does Jongdae think of him? What does Jongdae think of him?

"And the other Chanyeol sort of keep bumping his head into something when waving at me," Jongdae continues. "I guess that one’s Baekhyun. He's not used to being that tall."

Chanyeol can almost hear Baekhyun yelling hey! at this comment. It's true, though, thinks Chanyeol. He's still trying to process that Jongdae knew his trick all along, but apparently the smaller guy isn't done yet. "Also," he adds. "I may or may not have caught two Chanyeols making out in the boys room."

Chanyeol's head seems to go on overdrive at this information because the hell? What? Why? How? He can feel his mouth moving but no sound seems to come out of him.

"What, Baekhyun didn't tell you?" Jongdae asks. "He's sort of dating Kyungsoo."

Chanyeol gapes at Jongdae with wide eyes. Baekhyun and Kyungsoo are dating? How did he not know this? Chanyeol tries to recollect himself, shaking his head and bouncing up and down slightly. "Huh?"

Jongdae nods his head unhelpfully, smiling in sympathy at the mess that is Chanyeol.

He's here for something more important than this, Chanyeol realizes as he tries to get rid of the image of Baekhyun and Kyungsoo kissing. "But then," he stutters. "What about the hug? The peck?"

Jongdae lets out an airy laugh. "Oh that," he says. "That didn't happen."

"Huh?"

"I asked Baekhyun to say those things to you," Jongdae explains, stifling his laugh. "Well as for Kyungsoo, I guess Baekhyun told him to."

Chanyeol stares at Jongdae in disbelief. This was supposed to be him pulling tricks on Jongdae, but apparently tricks don't work on Ravenclaws. Also, how did Baekhyun and Kyungsoo become so good at acting? Life is so totally unfair. "Why?" Chanyeol manages to ask.

Jongdae blushes slightly. "Well, you know," he mumbles. "To speed up your process?"

Chanyeol blinks, and blinks, and blinks, until finally Oh. He clears his throat and gathers all the courage and tries to remember the short speech he prepared. It's time, it's time, it's time. "Kim Jongdae will you go out with me?" he stammers, speech forgotten and courage nonexistent as his voice shakes as much as his body when he looks at Jongdae in the eyes.

Jongdae laughs lightly and Chanyeol feels a knot in his stomach. What if Jongdae says no and he can't hear this beautiful sound ever again, Chanyeol wonders. But Jongdae's hands reach out for his and he says, "Finally."

When Chanyeol merely squeaks and fails to say anything decipherable, Jongdae squeezes his hands lightly and smiles. "Yes, Park Chanyeol, I'll go out with you."

*

The sun can only shine half as bright as Chanyeol on the next day, as he takes his lunch outside and sits on the ground looking to the lake with Jongdae, Baekhyun, and Kyungsoo. Jongdae fits instantly in their group-even Kyungsoo seems to like him more than he does Baekhyun and Chanyeol. But who wouldn't like Kim Jongdae, muses Chanyeol as they sit down. Kim Jongdae is witty, Kim Jongdae is beautiful, Kim Jongdae is kind-Kim Jongdae is perfection.

"Let me be your Patronus," Chanyeol whispers, lunch ignored at the sight of his new boyfriend. Kim Jongdae is his new boyfriend. Life is wonderful. "I will chase your Dementors away."

"Gross," comments Kyungsoo.

"Why would you say yes to this guy?" Baekhyun shakes his head at Jongdae, who just sits there munching his lunch, giggling without even looking at Chanyeol.

"You must be so good at Charms," Chanyeol continues, still looking dreamily at Jongdae. "Your alohomora even unlocks my heart."

Kyungsoo lunges forward to stuff Chanyeol's mouth with bread so that he would shut up. Chanyeol dodges, not tearing his gaze from Jongdae. Baekhyun wraps his arms around Kyungsoo to calm him down.

"Are you a Portkey?" Chanyeol breathes. "Because touching you takes me to paradise."

"Oh my god," Kyungsoo wails, covering his ears with his hands. "Make it stop!"

"Why do we even put up with this?!" Baekhyun hisses.

Jongdae finishes the last bit of his lasagna and finally turns his head at Chanyeol, who beams unmistakably. "Are you done?" he asks gently.

Chanyeol tries to think up other pickup lines he learned over the years, and decides to stop there. He'll use the others some other day, Chanyeol thinks as he answers Jongdae with a nod.

"Good," replies Jongdae. He leans forward and cups Chanyeol's cheek, pressing his lips on Chanyeol's. Kyungsoo and Baekhyun yell in disapproval, but not for long, as Jongdae pulls away, merely five seconds later. "Never do that again," he adds as he lightly slaps Chanyeol's cheek.

Chanyeol laughs as he pulls Jongdae back for another kiss-Baekhyun and Kyungsoo giving up on them and leaving them alone at the lakeside-and smiles as Jongdae kisses him back. It doesn't matter if he has to ditch his precious pickup lines, Chanyeol thinks, because he's got everything he needs, he's got everything he wants. Life is so totally wonderful.
