To the Printer!

Oh yes!  We did it.  We got enough ads so we can actually afford to print and mail this calendar out.  See, we do this for the school district, but the district doesn't actually pay anything for it.  Because, of course, that would not be good use of school funds, or some such bunk.  So we must feature ads on each month, and the ads pay for the calendar.  We got all the ads placed today, printed all the pages out, and packaged the file for the printer.  Mary just called to say everything opened at the printer's, but there was one font missing.  How does this happen?  Anyway, I just emailed the font so hopefully everything will be good.  We need to look things over and get any changes back to the printer as soon as possible, and then we are good to go.

It feels good to have this finally done.   Now I can enjoy my weekend.  Kettle Moraine Days this weekend - the annual party in the park.  I'm not all that into carnivals and crowds or beer tents, but I do really enjoy the parade on Sunday.  Cory is marching with the band.  Beth is going to go walk around the park and ride rides and eat junk tonight with her boyfriend and some other friends.  She's looking forward to that - though she hates rides, so I'm looking forward to hearing whether Tim gets her on any of those rides or not.

I'm off - to finally get in the shower (yeah, I know you needed to know that!?) and then figure out what's for dinner.  Some of us need to eat.
