Thunder!
Right about the time the school bus is supposed to arrive at the bus stop, the rain started pouring down and thunder started rumbling. I was sitting on the couch drinking my tea with honey and lemon because this cold is serious. Luckily, Beth got a ride so she was already home. She was more than happy to jump in the van and drive down to the corner to pick her brother up. I guess there are advantages to having another licensed driver in the house.
I ran out to Walgreens and Pick 'n Save today, but that's about all I got done, and that was enough to wear me out. I still have to fix dinner, but at least I know what I'm fixing tonight - unlike last night. Tonight we're having Turkey Lo Mein because I had an inspiration at the store, and bought the Romaine lettuce. I already had some ground turkey pulled out of the freezer before I left. I just hadn't decided exactly what I was going to do with it.
But first, maybe I can catch a quick nap.
