I put my sweats on today, and they are too short. These are just your ordinary average length Hanes sweat pants. I am not a tall person. Seriously, 5'4" is not tall. So why do sweats and jeans and things always seem short, unless I buy the tall sizes? Except for those jeans Beth made me buy at Wet Seal last year. I bought those in tall or long - and they were too long, so I had to exchange them for the medium length. They are still plenty long enough.
I often wonder, what do tall people do? If a short person like me is buying the longer lengths, just so that my pants are long enough for me, what is left for the tall people? I'm thinking that the long lengths fit them the same way that the medium lengths fit me, but there is no 'taller' or 'longer' length to move up to. So they just have to wear short pants? Is that where the whole capri trend came from?
