GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got caught up on LJ last week, and now I'm behind again. Haven't even been here in like a week.
It's getting very frustrating.
Hopefully, once Friday roles around, I'll be back on a more normal schedule.
Luckily, my professor was okay with my paper idea, which focuses on Supernatural, and pulls in some ideas for the journal article I'm still trying to write. This one feels a lot stronger, since it's a completely new argument, really, so I'm hopeful that maybe I'll be able to turn this into something substantial for that, which will cut down on the outside work a bit, seeing as how I signed myself up for more than I bargained for this semester. Doubt it will end up published in the end, but at least I'll have a good starting place and background work for my thesis when that roles around (can you tell I'm talking myself through and trying to convince myself that all is on schedule right now, lol).
Mostly, I'm just hoping that once this week is over, I'll be able to go back to a more open pace, so I can work on things the way I like to.
Also, if I see one more person say that Bones is about the B/B relationship and humor, I'm going to throw something. For the love of god, people, IT'S NOT A FUCKING SITCOM!!! It is a CRIME PROCEDURAL. Character driven or no (which, by the way, now...? No), it doesn't change the fact that it is NOT A COMEDY. There are humorous elements (or there used to be), but that does not automatically mean a genre shift, and I wish people could get that through their heads!!!
