I am at Calvin Crest in California, near Oakhurst. It's really beautiful up here. There are tons of trees in this beautiful setting and we get to stay in a really nice ski lodge type place. Class is amazing, but long and tiring. I have learned so much already- I can kinda half save people

A little hint for the in-field assesments (if you haven't already figured it out): make a SOAP-note cheat sheet, as in, write down headings and leave blanks for all the vitals, SAMPLE, and SOAP, then wrap it in clear contact paper or packaging tape, and get yourself a dry erase marker (or a permanent one, so long as you have some windex or acetone to get it off again) = reusable SOAP pad! YAY!! (I always had trouble with mine getting all soggy in the rain/snow/mud when I used ballpoint pens and paper).
Hope you're having fun . . . that experience was so amazing. I don't know who you're instructors are, but if one happens to be a tallish guy named Mike from Alaska with a big bushy mustache, please give him a big hug for me and tell him I'm in paramedic school :)
