After getting off work today, I walked a couple miles over to a movie theatre. It had been recommended that I see Garden State.
I thought it was great. It just kind of hit me in the right spot at the right time. I'm very happy that I went to see it.
Zach Braff was very impressive. Since I first noticed him on Scrubs, the tv show, I've thought he was a great actor. Scrubs is one of my favorite television shows. Natalie Portman was also fantastic. Being the Star Wars nerd that I am, I've like her since her role in Episode I. She exudes a certain innocense and playfulness in the movie that I can't really put into words.
In all, I thought this was a great film. I wish I could watch movies like that more often.
