Need a moment to relax...
(First, for those looking for the next chapter of Soul of a Family, it's coming along, albeit slowly. I expect a chapter to be up by/on the weekend. I apologize for the delay.)
This has been a hectic week and it's only going to continue for the next month as we finish up with house repairs, stepmother moving in, and the Spanish exchange student, not to mention school starting. I did not get to send my teacher email last night as planned, but hopefully I'll be able to send it off tonight, or tomorrow at the very latest.
And something very special has begun to happen. My dad and stepmom have started calling me Ritchie, though sporadically. I will admit that it's a bit odd, and feels a little different than when my Mya or school friends do the same thing... but it's a step in what I hope is the right direction. I have also told my twin about my intentions for this school year. I foresee having to come out to a lot more people in a very short time (which I will need to learn how to do more eloquently..), but I'm actually a little excited, if nervous, about this school year.
Now, since my help is currently needed for transporting our couch down the basement stairs... I will take my leave. Love you all!
