Today was a mix of good and bad. School went alright. Classes were easy, tests were easy, got sweets... lunch wasn't that good since Taylor wasn't there, but I said hi to Meghan again, and she said hi back. So that was nice- I got to hear her voice.. though I don't remember it that well

I can, unfortunately, say that the spacers are hell. I only had to wear them for a day or two, though, so let's hope that's all you'll have to do too...
As far as braces in general go, they aren't as bad as it all seems. I mean, for the first month, I know you'll hate them, because they do have their grand moments of hurting very badly. But once you get used to them, the worst part will be going back to the ortho to get them tightened and all that... and really, those appointments are over very quickly, so... it's not all that bad.
Oh, but I'm not going to lie -- getting the braces on is no picnic. You just gotta get yourself through that and the first month and you're good to go. :3 I promise ( ... )

According to my brother, spacers aren't that painful, just annoying. I'm not sure..
I suppose once I have them on, I'll just hate looking in the mirror/brushing my teeth. But thinking about them getting glued on sounds horribly miserable.
And I also guess I'll get adjusted, but.. meh. I don't want them, but we've already paid for part of it, and everyone's making such a big deal about it.It'd be nice to have straight teeth, but couldn't we have a way besides braces to do it? >.<
Thanks for commenting- it helps. (On a different note- I haven't "seen" you in a while. Been busy?)

Also, I guess if I had worn the spacers for longer, I might've gotten more used to them, but I didn't have the time to get adjusted, so they were just painful to me. ROFL. D:
Oh, and... you know, getting the brackets on isn't all that bad... but getting the bands put on my back teeth really hurt, for me. That and it's such a strange and new experience for your teeth, so it's just so uncomfortable. You'll get through it, obviously, though. :3 And I wish you the best of luck with it.
But you know what, I love the way braces look! Yeah, brushing your teeth might suck and take longer than normal, but... for some reason, I was okay with that, because I liked looking at them in the mirror, and I feel a little lonely without them, these days. ROFL. But uh... that's 'cause I'm weird, I guess. ;3 ( ... )

(Personally, we quite agree with you. We wouldn't want it done. Our daughter never had it done, and she's quite healthy. Not to mention drop-dead gorgeous, and that's not just our opinion because she's our daughter. She had a couple of teeth pulled to give her some more space to brush....and nowdays she has a beautiful smile, without having those artificially straight teeth that look exactly like everybody else's.)
Hope that was food for thought, as opposed to adding fuel to the fire.

(P.S. - all those f's were not meant to be a tongue-twister. It just came out that way.) :)
