(no subject)
Yikes...it's been since May 10 that i have updated...i check everyone about once a day, but can't manage to actually update anyone except once every couple of months!
So...in May we drove to Lincoln. Joe got to see one of his old army buddies which was fun and I got to catch up with old profs and all my friends who graduated this year. We spent our anniversary in Omaha going to the best zoo ever and out to a very expensive dinner. (really you have to do this once in awhile)
Joe found a crack in his ring while we were on vacation, so we got that fixed when we got back. Yesterday he lost a diamond from his ring....and the crack in the band was back! So luckily we got the lifetime something or other warranty and the repair and new diamond is free. He's going to have to learn to be nicer to his wedding band!
Everyone I know is pregnant, has an infant or children. This makes me nuts, because I want a baby, it's just not going to happen right now. Neither of us wants to give up going to school to stay home with a baby....but sometime in the relatively near future that might change....
The month of June included me starting my summer class...I hate the class, it's ridiculous and the prof is an insensitive ass (which I basically said on his midterm review). But I don't want to go into that. Keeping busy with work that my prof keeps giving me, but that's good. I am training so that in the near future I'll be ready to start running experiments! One more year of classes and then I'm DONE and will only have research left to do!
July is shaping up to be a lot of the same. The only other addition is that we will begin getting ready to move. In August we will be moving to a Four-plex, hopefully out last move until we graduate.
That's about all I can think of other than updating on exactly what I'm doing at work...all it really involves is research and writing code (not my idea of fun, but it's got to be done!)
