The Saturn Awards are my favourite awards ever. Aimed at Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror films, TV and DVDs, this means shit you like actually gets nominated. The Muppet Movie won Best Fantasy Film in 1979, Eddie Murphy won Best Actor for The Nutty Professor, Finally something that doesn't break your soul. Here's a selection of the people I love getting praised for shit they deserve to be and people getting nominated because somethimes having 6 nominations is too many so some weird things happen.
Best Sci-Fi Film:

Bill Nighy - Yes that right, for Pirates of the Caribbean a film where his character is CGI in the final product.
James Marsden - Superman Returns. James Marsden nominated ahead of KEVIN SPACEY and Sam Huntington (Jimmy Olsen)
