A very good friend of mine has a husband who is in Afghanistan. I know how much it means to them to get goodies from home. The plan is to send him a basket of goods that remind him of home. If there's anything you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated. I want to try and send it out by the end of August. If you want to help, let me know what you can contribute and send it to:
David Fitzgerald
3764 Floral Ave
Norwood, Ohio 45212
If you are sending any goods, please let me know so I don't miss anything.
If you would rather contribute some money and I can buy him something you can Paypal me at dfitzgerald@cinci.rr.com
100% will go towards stuff for him.
I am paying for some items myself as well as shipping.
I will include a card with everyone's name who contributes.
Here is his profile in case you were wondering who it is going to.

baby wipes, shaving cream, razors, anti-fungal cream (like Lamisil - they're seeing a lot of boot rot and supplies are taking forever to get there), Gold Bond foot powder. Snacks are awesome, but obviously no chocolate, pork, or anything perishable. I can tell you that he really likes beef jerky. He's good on shampoo and deodorant. I would recommend that if you're going to send anything liquid or gel, be on the safe side and double or triple bag it with large Ziploc bags. Packages take roughly 2 weeks or so to get there, and stuff leaks, especially in the heat. Last I heard their average days were 120 degrees F over there right now, too.
Thanks for all your help
