Out of a fortnight of shit comes a blazing light of geekdom at the end of the tunnel. Two, in fact. Maybe even three if you count the release of Christopher Paolini's new beast of a novel - 763 pages, craziness!
With BitTorrent and AOL being a right pair of twats I've relented and will be watching Heroes on the BBC this year. With the next episode airing on BBC3 each week I'll only ever be a week behind the States, so avoiding spoilers shouldn't be too difficult. And if I do come across any, at least I've only ruined one episode ahead instead of, like, the whole season.
Work is being a total dick about hours so I've tracked down a gym that doesn't tie you down to a minimum contract. If I can't get rich before heading back up north then I can at least try to get fit. The place is a bit of a dive, but it's got more equipment than the very first gym I ever went to so for the next few weeks I'm proud to call it my bit of a dive. Well, maybe not proud, but mildly unashamed at least.
In other good news, Eddie Izzard is bringing his latest tour to London from November 17 to December 12. If anybody wants to come see him with me - date to be confirmed - let me know ASAP as tickets go on sale tonight and I don't want to miss out.
