80 MPH then the tire says NOOOOOOooo

Well today was a rough day. Everything was normal when I got up. Got ready for work and left on time. I get half way to work, crossing the bridge on I-65 at Columbus when my car sounds very veeeery off and the feel I get becomes aggressive. Now its been aggressive before, what I thought was bad alignment (to go straight I have to have the wheel at about 1:30) so I pull over. My driver side front tire is flat. I call Rally and work just to let them know and I proceed to change to my spare. However fate would have it that my carjack was to be rusted and I couldn't put it together to lift the car.
I call Rally once more asking if he could take a little time off from work to help me. He said he would be on his way to help. As I waited another car came up behind me. I thought it was Ral as some time had passed but then red and blue lights began to flash. It was a State Trooper, he wanted to know if I was ok, checked out my flat, asked one more time and left. Rally arrived a bit after. It was so cold out and when he got his jack, we found out that a bottle of wipper fluid spilled out and soaked his jack. We dried it off, got in the car to warm back up before taking on the task.

We found the bolts were on as tight as could be. We got one loose but the others were putting on too much of a fight. About this time a state trooper car turns on their lights pulling behind me again. It was the same Officer as before asking if we had made any progress. Updating him he helped us, he was able to undo the bolts (one of which he really had to put his back into) but we got it switched out. I got turned around and was going to Walmart to get new tires.
As I was driving I noticed my cars alignment was perfect. All this time it had been the tire! We get to Walmart and take a better look. The tires back half was completely bald. On the passenger front, it was cracked and from the back a quarter bald. It was just being worn way uneven due to the tire that died on me. It looked horrid and I wished I had a camera on me at the time so I could show you how bad. There were also bulges which explained why it was shaky while driving. In either case I got new tires. Sad thing was I was planning on getting a new set, and I didn't want these. But I can't argue the fact its better than the messed up ones I had. So the ones I would like will need to wait a while longer.

Rally and I did go out shopping a bit today. Got some new clothes and I look hawt. I just figured I would say that. :)
So a good ending to a bad (or what could have been a very horrible) day.
