Things I have to let go
Maybe it's not the healthiest attitude in the world, but I'm basically withdrawing from several parts of my life while studying. At this point, it might actually be necessary; I'm rapidly losing the ability to speak. In my Italian class this morning, I couldn't come up with a sentence that began, "I was content that..." Not for verb tense reasons, but because my mind went totally blank. Weird, huh?
But today, while talking to varanus, he seemed surprised that I hadn't read his most recent post... when in fact I haven't read any posts in a long time. So, while I effectively withdrew from livejournal a couple months ago, this time I'm making it more or less official. At least until December. I'm also not going grocery shopping until then, which for some reason takes up a lot of time in my life...
p.s. however, Lizard Alien, I would gladly log on just to see pictures of the new addition to your family... just say the word!
