Сенсорное восприятие

The sense deprivation is another sort of experience. I know one friend of mind found himself… he volunteered for a sensory deprivation experiment. He knew he was getting paranoid. He was determined not to press the button for release … that he would wait it out. He was getting more and more paranoid. He recognized it. He also recognized he was definitely paranoid. It was a horrible experience. He doesn’t ever want to repeat that. He said he didn’t know he had so many paranoid ideas in him. And that there’s no reason for them to be brought out in that way. And there’s nothing in his life history that indicates that with a normal sensory intake he will ever really be paranoid. But in that sensory deprivation, he’s in a state of starvation that allows paranoid reactions. And you find that in various situations. That we are so dependant upon sensory intake that it’s a horrible experience to be deprived of it. (М.Эриксон)
