first entries are always the worst, in my opinion, to both write and read. it's difficult to fully sound like yourself in an introduction post because you're not comfortable with your surroundings yet so everything comes out sounding forced. this has been my experience, at least. but i figured that i may as well say something before i end up forgetting i ever started this journal, so here we are.
