Surprises and more news
so last night i had a wonderful visit with twistedcat who surpirsed me by bringing lizzc with her. we had some good laughs (despite my order that we not be funny cuz it often hurt to laugh sometimes). We were then joined by james_madison and discussed everything from easter eggs on dvds to lizz's future and her plans of what to do before she leaves L.A. (27 meal times and natara has 43 restaurants for her to visit, not to mention museums) and about how alike natara and james are and about the wedding pictures (i wanna see them)
they even had one moment of exact phrase, tone, hand motions, and everything.
it was cute
it was also a great distraction for me and i loved seeing them and am very happy i got to say a goodbye to lizz (gonna miss her)
thank you guys tremendously for visiting.
ok so the doctor has changed my meds and given me possible scenarios
i am no longer on darvocet, having switched to ultracet and nuerontin for the pain (apparently nuerontin is supposed to help with nerve pain)
and i am back on the muscle relaxers
steroid regiment continues till saturday
three possibilities of what happened
1) just that the steroids haven't had a chance to do their work i and i just have to wait a lil longer
2) i got an internal infection from the surgery but i was on antibiotics and i have no other symptoms like fever
3) i have pushed more of the disc out again affecting my spinal cord and may need more surgery
this has progressed from thursday and slowly gotten to the point where i now sit here afraid to move cuz 9 times out of 10 the movement is followed by a seizing of my whole body and a wave of pain radiating from my hip that ripples and then fades in a bout a minute or so. scratching an itch can do it. i dunno what the future holds but i hope i find out soon. this is a lil scary.
