Road to Recovery
so today i went in and had the bandage removed and the stitch removed
doc said it is healing nicely
YEAY (waddle for joy which is an attempt at the dance for joy)
i am walking, sitting (i even get to eat thangsgiving at the table with the family instead of lying in bed alone in my room while the family is out there), and the position i sleep in no longer matters.
with the stitch out (it was apparently under the skin holding it together) i was able to take a REAL shower (never got that cute nurse to give me a sponge bath).
for those of you who don't know, i was forced to use this rinseless soap and a washcloth and my hair was washed with a microwaved showercap. felt soo much better to do that, OH and i shaved too.
so the plan is to go to the YMCA and do some walking in the pool for a lil while each time over the next two weeks. then i should be able to drive and maybe even get a job
it is all going upward from here
and i got a scar... i saw it in the mirror but not a really good look
it is about 3 inches and seems perfectly straight
2 more weeks of hangin out here
