if i had written this yesterday, i could have titled it Three Days in a Row.
or, Two Movies in a Row.
but after going out with Pete last night, i didn't feel like coming here after we got home. so we watched figure skating and waited for "Big Love', which both of us napped through. good thing we can OnDemand it and catch up. not that HBO won't replay it a bazillion times before the next episode next Sunday, but with my timeframe, i like the luxory of OnDemand.
we saw Sherock Holmes--well done, despite a few corny jokes.
dark, yes. but then i thought, it probably was just dark in England at that time, right?
violent, yes.
comedy--no. some jokes, but not really a comedy.
but it was good to see Robert Downy Jr making a good movie, because i do like that guy and he was in quite a sad state for a bit there.
and then dinner at Pittsburgh Blues, thanks to the gift card from my momma for Christmas. i am trying to like red wines, and i am thinking that Argentinian malbecs might be my red. i don't really like the tannin the red brings, and i do not like dry wines usually, but the last two times i have gone out, i have gotten the Argentinian malbec and liked it.
and dinner--mushroom-topped herb-crusted filet mignon. delicious!
and i was thankful for a light commute, esp after the snow-caused mess of last Monday!
