I'm disappointed in my preparation for my Security+ exam. I've been going really slow. I had actually hoped to have taken the exam by now. I mean, I've just pushed my time line back, but the longer it takes for me to do it, the harder it is. I've been trying to read more steadily the last few days. I think I've probably averaged about 10 pages a day. Not great, right? I know. Still, I'll keep chugging and I'll get there eventually. Same thing happened with both the Network+ and the A+. Though, the A+ I kept my time line much better.
I haven't really read much of anything else in the mean time. I've been messing with games on my Nook Color here and there or (as previously mentioned) playing a lot of tower defense games.
By the way, if you've never seen the movie Tangled, you owe it to yourself to see it. Easily one of the best Disney/Pixar films I've seen in a while. I mean, I would be hard pressed to mention a bad Pixar film, but I really liked this one, too. It's cute, funny, and beautifully animated. It's just a really good time all around.
I've been playing a lot of the game Assassin's Creed II lately. I really enjoy the game. There's a part of me that feels rather weird (maybe guilty) saying this, but it is really fun to kill people in that game. You can only kill bad guys if it makes you feel any better about reading that statement. You know, the morally ambiguous good guy is played by yourself and you kill "bad guys." The story is actually deeper than I can describe; it is also deeper than I can follow. It's about some assassins trying to stop the Templars from ruling the world or some nonsense like that. Still, I really just play because it's really fun to kill people in the game. It's just neat the way you have to sneak up, tip toe in, and then use a hidden blade to end their evil ways. The other awesome part is the free running. THe game is awesome how the character runs and jumps over obstacles in just a smooth motion. I recommend it if you don't mind slow moving games that require holding like 8 buttons at once. Still, good game.
