WALL-E weirdness and poop jokes
I was watching WALL-E with the boy before bedtime just a little while ago and something struck me as odd; so, there is a little cleaning bot named Mo. He's cute and fun and all that jazz. What's weird is that when he talks he has a small little voice with which he just says, "Mo." But, when we see things from his point of view there is point at which a banner shows up on his internal HUD and is accompanied by a voice that says, "Foreign Contaminate." What bothers me is that seems like it would be an inner dialog, but it is a completely different voice! Isn't everyone's inner voice the same as there outer voice? Can you even imagine having an inner dialog that sounds completely different than your outer voice? I don't know. It just struck me as odd.
In other news, we have started potty training the boy. of course, when I say "we" what I really mean is "my wife." i am helping, dont get me wrong, but most of the work is done by her. He's doing really well at it too.
The only other cool thing I have to mention is that this entire post was typed on my Nook Color. I love this little thing. I read more because of it and it is incredibly handy.
