Fanmix

Aug 22, 2009 20:08

Hey all. This ia a short fanmix of songs that (to me) remind me of ieatpeopleok's Lazareth Riseth and Gestalt. The list will most likely get longer as the story progresses (and whenever I go through the rest of my Mp3 player. Which is hella long :/). This is only the songs that I could remember at the top of my head that I thought fit and I own. ^w^

I'm sure no one would agree with me on these, but, oh well. Also, I'm a little embarrassed now about putting this up. So if you comment (Which I love) pls be kind u///u

Good Enough - Evanescence - Joker - Lazareth Riseth
Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright - Both - Lazareth Riseth
The Real Thing - Gwen Stefani - Bruce - Lazareth Riseth
Sally's Song - Fiona Apple - Joker - Lazareth Riseth

Taking Over Me - Evanescence - Bruce - Gestalt
Once Upon A December - Anastasia - Joker - Gestalt
If I Could Be Where You Are - Enya - Bruce - Gestalt
Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright - Bruce - Gestalt

Yeah, I know I have Hallelujah twice on there, but for me I consider it two different ways/versions for the two different parts. In Lazareth Riseth it's for when they make love, so more instumental cuz the tune goes up and down. For Gestalt, it's for Bruce reminiscing on what he had, what he's left with and how he feels about it. So totally the lyrics. (Also, I consider the second verse to be about Bruce talking to himself about he and Joker. Of course, that's just how I see it. To each their own. C:)

And I love Fiona Apple's version of Sally's Song. Very sexy XD

And I like Evanescence. So there.

Good Enough

Under your spell again
I can't say 'no' to you
Crave my heart and it's bleeding in your hand
I can't say 'no' to you

Shouldn't let you torture me so sweetly
Now I can't let go of this dream, I can't breathe but I feel...
Good enough, I feel good enough
For you

Drink up sweet decadence
I can't say 'no' to you
And I've completely lost myself, and I don't mind
I can't say 'no' to you

Shouldn't let you conquer me completely
Now I can't let go of this dream, can't believe that I feel...
Good enough, I feel good enough
It's been such along time comin', but I feel good

And I'm still waiting for the rain to fall
Pour real life down on me
Cause I can't hold on, to anything this good enough
Am I good enough,
For you, to love me too?

So take care what you ask of me
Cause I can't say 'no'

The Real Thing

I've seen your face a thousand times
Have all your stories memorized
I've kissed your lips a million ways
But I still love to have you around

I've held you too many times to count
I think I know you inside out
And we're together, most days
But I still love to have you around

---Refrain---
And you're the one I want
And it's not just a phase
And you're the one I trust
Our love is the real thing

Don't go away, my love (my love)
I want you to stay, in my life
Don't go away, my lover (my love)
I'm happiest when we spend time
---Refrain---

You're a salty water ocean wave
You knock me down, you kiss my face
I know the storms will always come
But I still love to have you around

And Heaven knows what will come next
So emotional, you're so complex
A rollercoaster built to crash
But I still love to have you around

(Refrain)

(It's only you and I)
It's you there when I close my eyes,
and you in the morning
I never thought you'd still be mine,
Oh I really need to have you around

Don't go away, my love (my love)
I want you to stay, in my life
Don't go away, my lover (my love)
I need you, you're my love supply

Don't go away, my love (my love supply)
I want you to stay, in my life (every day, every night)
Don't go away, my lover (my love supply)
I need you, you're my love supply

Sally's Song

I sense there's something in the wind
That seems like tragedy's at hand
And though I'd like to stand by him,
Can't shake this feeling that I have
The worst is just around the bend
And does he notice, my feelings for him?
And will he see, how much he means to me?
I think it's not to be

What will become of my dear friend?
Where will his actions lead us then?
Although I'd like to join the crowd,
In there enthusiastic cloud
Try as I may it doesn't last
And will we ever, end up together?
No I think not, it's never to become
For I am not the one

And will we ever, end up together?
No I think not...
It's never to become...
For I, am not...
The one

Taking Over Me

You don't remember me
But I remember you
I lie awake and try so hard
Not to think of you

But who can decided
What they dream?
And dream I do

---Refrain---
I believe in you (I believe in you)
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe,
You're taking over me
---Refrain---

Have you forgotten all I know
And all we had?
You saw me mourning my love for you
And touched my hand

...I knew you loved me then

(refrain)

I look in the mirror and see your face
If I look deep enough
So many things inside that are just like you
Are taking over

(Refrain X2)
(Taking over me)
You're taking over me
(Taking over me)
Taking over me

Once Upon A December

Dancing bears, painted wings,
Things, I almost remember
And a song, someone sings,
Once upon a December

Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully,
Across my memory (X2)

Far away, long ago,
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart, use to know,
Things it yearns to remember...

And a song, someone sings...

Once, upon a December

If I Could Be Where You Are

Where are you this moment?
Only in my dreams
Your missing, but you're always
A heartbeat from me

I'm lost now without you
I don't know where you are
I keep watching, I keep hoping,
But time keeps us apart

Is there a way I can find you?
Is there a sign I should know?
Is there a road I could follow,
To bring you back home?

Winter lies before me
Now you're so far away
In the darkness of my dreaming
The light of you will stay

If I could be close beside you
If I could be where you are
If I could reach out and touch you
And bring you back home

Is there a way I can find you?
Is there a sign I should know?
Is there a road I could follow
To bring you back home...

To me

Hallelujah

I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it please the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth,
The minor fall, the major lift,
The baffled King composing 'Hallelujah'

---Refrain---
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
---Refrain---

Your faith was strong, but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the 'Hallelujah'

(Refrain)

Maybe I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I use to live alone, before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold, and it's a broken 'Hallelujah'

(Refrain)

There was a time, you let me know
What's real and going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you?
The Holy Dark was moving too
And every breath we drew was 'Hallelujah'

(Refrain)

Maybe there's a God above
And all I ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
And it's not a cry you can hear at night,
It's not somebody who's seen the light,
It's a cold, and it's a broken 'Hallelujah'

(Refrain X2)
