I'm so sad, like a good book
This week has been a little bit of a bit of a bummer, as Bart's CD Cellar is closing. this is the place i got my promo AATS posters from, where i got The Best of The Waitresses 69 cents (it was marked down from $2.00). earlier this week. i decided i need to go back and get a Bob Marley t shirt. the shitty part is that the parent company or whatever, is keeping six stores around the country open, and even though Bart's is making money, it wasn't chosen to be one of them. and bummer bonus, when i went there earlier this week with my Dad, the one copy of Tori's Original Bootlegs Denver CO that has been there every time that i have visited, was gone :( i was almost in tears then, so hopefully i'll be able to hold it together if we go again today. other than that, things have been pretty uneventful. i've just been watching Christmas stuff and listening to Christmas music (although, funny, AATS has reasserted itself to remind me that Sin is where i usually hang out mentally and emotionally-all this listening to songs about baby jesus is just a facade :) this week i made a dvd of Midwinter TV apps. Most of it is DL'd from youtube and the various Tori forums. i am amazed at the picture quality-even on my big tv, there is no noticable pixilization or anything, so i've really enjoyed watching it. i hope someone gets an AATS/MG TV dvd together, so i can have everything that's stuck on my TV on DVD, like the Tori TV dvd's that have been made by Toriphiles in the past. i am really missing NIN this week. ever since NIN "ended," i've found it basically impossible to listen to any of it. i know its kinda silly, but i really miss Tdawg! However, this does not mean that i don't he deserves a break after working so hard for all of us for the last 20 years! and i do really hope he's happy with Mariqueen. He deserves "all the love in the world" and i hope he has a very happy Christmas. the good bit is that is seems that "Another Version of the Truth" will be out soon, with lots of bonus materials and great live footage! i think it's going to be pretty epic. and i am so proud to be part of a fanbase that really made this happen for themselves and did an amazing job in doing so! sigh. i can't believe Christmas is this week. turns out Mojo is coming with us, although he'll have to stay at Jodie's, i just hope i can stay with him part of the time.
