holy shit....srsly?
okay, so a couple of months ago, somebody broke into my car, smashing the front passenger window and taking my GPS from the glovebox.
so that sucked.
since then, my dad and brother made me a temporary window out of plexiglass and tape, which worked just fine on the highway and i was pleased with.
upon my return to minneapolis after christmas, i figured there was nothing worth stealing in my car anymore, and to avoid another broken window, i just stopped locking my car.
apparently my logic was tragically flawed.
tonight, i went out to my car so i could run to walgreens and pick up some cigarettes and pepsi. upon reaching my car, i discovered a few things.
the first was that the plexiglass window had been smashed in. and someone had attempted to remove my radio/cd player, to no avail.
but nothing was actually *missing*, and i was pleased that at least they hadn't smashed one of the *good windows*.
...and then i noticed that they left something behind:
and really, my friends, there's no better way of saying, "sorry about being an asshole for breaking your already broken window when your car was already unlocked" than by leaving behind a brand new bottle of brandy.
oh, my life.
that is all.
