We were taken on a mammoth tour of London by the debonair
kiroo.
We saw some ugly places, some pretty places, some hilarious places and some cool places.
There's an area called Brick Lane. It's filled with the most pretentious people I've ever seen. Not the wine-wanker pretentious types but the ones who keep up with all the latest trends and fashions. Everything in the area has a carefully manicured decay, almost so they could say they live in the 'real world'. It was hilarious :D
Camden Town was a cool little area which any goth might now. It's covered by goth stores and similar sub-culture fun. A furry stall would blend in perfectly.
vulpyro really needs to go there, there's some stuff right up his alley :P
We walked along the picturesque river Thames (well, the Thames is as picturesque as the Murry is 'mighty', take it however you want).
A few beers were consumed in a neat little bar somewhere I forget. Heh. The chips were really expensive. This was followed by dinner in Soho (poof-town). We went to a fancyish Italian place. All was good.
Unfortunately I had blisters from previous days walking and these were a little irritated by the long tour, but I managed to survive. I thoroughly recommend something called 'Compeed Blisters Strips'.
I'm blogging about this a couple of days after the event so I'm sure there's stuff I missed, feel free to remind me about the details, Kiroo.
