Falling into the cave.
For pagans Fall and winter are considered the "Darker half of the year" a time when we withdraw from the outer world and become more reflective. My sister calls it the cave time.
For myself this is the time of year is when I normally create most of my art and find inspiration in quiet moments. But I also find myself becoming more withdrawn from the people around me every year, so if I have been quiet or less that outgoing it is simply how I am this time of year. I am not mad or depressed just reflective and more inside my own head.
