Disappointed
I was scanning the LJ Search pages by "interest" and was saddened to see NO community geared towards bards - training, developing, consulting, questions.
There are some private bard groups, and some alternate communities out there (I joined some of the groups I found) but wasn't really satisfied with what I located.
Perhaps it is time to create a community for bards who perform live at bardic competitions. A place where we can go to ask questions, consult on a piece we are working on, and get magical advice on performing and presenting.
I performed in bardic at KG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. A big achievement for me... Performing in front of 500 people vs in front of 75 at a MUCH smaller festival. This was my big milestone of KG this year.
I am happy for being recognized for best bribe.
Next goal: Place 2nd or 1st in future bardics... and figure out how to perform a STORYTELLING piece that will achieve that goal.
