Midguard is THIS weekend!
Woohoo!! :) I've been so excited about this weekend. I get to see friends who I spent time at last year's Kaleidoscope and InFest. We get to re-bless the enclave this weekend.
What I can't wait to see is how much of the Obstacle Course is left after the Maintenace Troll got his hands on it.
Rick and I were up until 1:30am finishing getting ready. We have our large supply tub just about full, the second of 3 comforters in the dryer, the meat has been packaged and is ready for the cooler, one dozen boiled eggs and one dozen raw transferred to little plastic camping egg containers.
The last thing to do is pack a bag of clothes (an easy project) - one pair of pants, two skirts, lots of t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a sweater. And 6 pairs of socks.
The forecast for this weekend (I couldn't find Curran so I went to the next closest community, Casselman):
http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/cities/can/Pages/CAON0123.htm which is south and west of Whispering Pines. There is also Plantagenet which is mostly north of the campground:

HUGS!!
Until Monday....
