I've used at least 5 different computers and 5 different Internet connections since coming to China, and Wikipedia won't load on a single one of them. This has happened to LJ and Gmail a couple times, but usually the connection cleared up pretty quick; Wikipedia, on the other hand, never works and I'm just looking up shit like X-Men. We spent three days at the Magao Grottoes in the dessicated armpit of China called Dun Huang during which the high point was riding a camel to a banana-shaped oasis during a small sandstorm and the low point was my laptop's battery/power cord/something deciding to suicide.
