A visitation on physical congregation location and a revisitation of intercongregational relations

Zion PCA, a sister church to my church Faith OPC, is purchasing a building a mile up Old Cheney from our church (I say up because it's at the top of a hill while we're in a valley, so based on altitude...).

I was a little confused when I first heard of the possibility, as that puts two of the four Reformed churches (the three sister churches of Faith OPC, and Faith OPC) within a mile of each other. Zion PCA and St Johns RCUS had been about a mile and a half apart before, and Zion will be building a church plant at their old site. Grace Chapel PCA is going to be doing a church plant sometime in the near future. Currently all 4 church are in what I'd call the Southwest portion of Lincoln, being all to the southwest of 48th and O. Grace, at 40th and Sheridan, is the furthest East of them all. I really hope when Grace does it's church plant, they look to the North or East portions of the city.

Now, to that concept of intercongregational relations that I've visited in different manners before. Zion will be about a mile from Faith. This presents opportunities for fellowship between the churches by having simple early afternoon lunches in one of the parks nearby. I have proposed other ideas for relations between churches, but I think this is a very simple idea that could work out for everyone.
