Wedding officially moved up.
Actually it's kind of funny. My numbers thing turned out to be a great thing in this instance because we realized how stupid we were to want it in the summer of '13. Ryan would be student teaching, working on his senior recital, working on his licensure, certification and a myriad of applications for work. Trying to plan a wedding during that time would have been hectic at best, and more likely impossible.
The down side is that my mother told my whole family my numbers thing, and though I've been doing this for YEARS apparently I've never been this vocal about it. So now they all think I'm insane and keep making tasteless and fairly hurtful jokes. If I ask for the pepper, they ask if I want the salt with it so it's an even number. If I get a drink - same thing. They'll get bored with it soon enough, I'm sure, but they are now dissecting everything I do into numbers and it's unsettling and fairly obnoxious.
I'm excited about the wedding plans and Ryan is as well. He was worried at first that a year wouldn't be enough time to plan a wedding until everyone told him that amount of time is actually very standard. In fact most do it in about 8-10 months. We're looking at some places and I'm getting more excited as each step is taken. Last night we (I think) finalized the wedding party. I'm excited about that as well.
Ok, I'm done. Thank you for the comments and advice. It was extremely helpful and supportive and I needed it very much.
LOVE!
