Oh yeah...
That's right...I'm going to be 21 Monday...
Apparently my own birthday is very forgettable...especially for me.
It started this morning when the Pittsburgh news announced that Troy Polamalu and his wife had another baby boy. My Mum and I both made the obligatory "AWWW!" as it was announced. Then Mum turns to me and says: Too bad he couldn't have been born Monday.
I turned to her, completely confused, and asked why. She gave me an equally blank look and told me that Monday was my birthday. This was Durr Hurr moment nummer eins.
Nummer zwei came at work when my boss asked what I wanted to do Monday. I asked why. She once again had to tell me that Monday is my birthday. We always celebrate birthdays in our office with pizza and desserts. It's up to the person with the birthday to decide where to get the pizza and what kind of dessert they want. (For the record I'm choosing Domino's and cheese cake <3)
Besides me getting forgetful in my old age, tomorrow is the day I'm going to the Newman Center Book Sale! This I have NOT forgotten, seeing as how it's one of my most looked forward to events of the year.
Each year, usually around my oft forgotten birthday, the Catholic church next to campus has a GIGANTIC used book sale. It's absolutely magnificent for a bibliomaniac like me. There's a big out door tent filled with books, 3-4 rooms inside filled with MORE books, and a room devoted to records, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs', and cassette tapes. Oh I can hardly wait <3
Anyway, I've decided to post some art I've done recently. (both pics are Hetalia, as it's my current fandom of choice :P)
Looking back on my previous posts, my art has REALLY changed. I'm not sure if it's for the better or not though. I do like the style I've got going at the moment however...

First line art scanned with our new scanner. It's highly sensitive...look at all the detail in the lines it picked up! I got so frustrated trying to clean this up to color it.
And the colored one. I'm not too pleased with Lithuania's hair, but oh well.
